To be more specific, let's create communities with the intention of — each — achieving a specific goal (and related sub-goals). Furthermore, root that intention in a priorly achieved/evolved shared vision.
I recommend, as a guide (we should not try to “reinvent the wheel”), the chapter on Shared Vision in The Fifth Discipline by Peter Senge.
